第４次安倍再改造内閣が本格始動＝新旧環境相が引き継ぎ

　第４次安倍再改造内閣は、発足から一夜明けた１２日午前、本格的に始動した。安倍晋三首相は少子高齢化対応を再改造内閣の最大の課題と位置付けており、子育て支援を含む「全世代型社会保障制度」の構築を進める。同時に北朝鮮による拉致問題の解決など「戦後外交の総決算」も目指す方針だ。
　各閣僚はそれぞれ庁舎に登庁。初入閣となった小泉進次郎環境相は環境省に入り、前任の原田義昭衆院議員から引き継ぎを受けた。小泉氏は東京電力福島第１原発事故に関わる除染作業の加速に向け、１２日午後に福島県庁で内堀雅雄知事と意見交換する予定で、「福島の復興を後押しするのも環境省の大事な仕事。復興相だという思いで頑張る」と原田氏に語った。
　同じく初入閣組の武田良太防災担当相は台風１５号の影響による大規模停電が続く千葉県を早速視察。橋本聖子五輪担当相は、東京都内に完成した「日本オリンピックミュージアム」のオープニングセレモニーに臨んだ。（2019/09/12-11:47）

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's new cabinet started work in earnest Thursday, as a typhoon-caused major power outage continues in Chiba Prefecture, east of Tokyo.
   On the day, Ryota Takeda, new minister for disaster management, paid a visit to Chiba, where many areas still remain without power after Typhoon Faxai hit the Kanto eastern region Monday.
   Meanwhile, Environment Minister Shinjiro Koizumi will visit Fukushima Prefecture in the afternoon to have talks with Governor Masao Uchibori on accelerating decontamination work following the country's worst nuclear disaster at Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Inc.'s Fukushima No. 1 power plant in the northeastern prefecture in 2011.
   "Supporting reconstruction in Fukushima is also an important job of the Environment Ministry," Koizumi said during a meeting with his predecessor, Yoshiaki Harada, at the ministry in the morning.
   Speaking to reporters at the prime minister's office, Abe mentioned the business trips by Takeda and Koizumi, who both joined the cabinet for the first time.
