五輪ＰＶに懸念の声　都内自治体、中止要望も―専門家「都は協議を」

　東京五輪・パラリンピックのパブリックビューイング（ＰＶ）をめぐり、都内の自治体などから新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大を懸念する声が相次いでいる。埼玉県が感染リスクを理由に２カ所のＰＶ中止を決めたが、両大会の開催都市である東京都は具体的な対応を示していない。専門家は「都は協議の場を持ち、耳を傾けるべきだ」と指摘する。
　都は大会組織委員会と共催で、ＰＶと競技体験などを行う「ライブサイト」を都内に２カ所設置。他に都主催のＰＶ会場も４カ所開設する予定だ。うち都立代々木公園（渋谷区）のライブサイトは五輪期間中、ワクチン接種会場として使うことを決定。パラリンピックではＰＶを行う方向で調整している。
　もう一つの都立井の頭公園（武蔵野市、三鷹市）のライブサイトについて、武蔵野市は今月４日、松下玲子市長名で「感染状況に鑑み、中止」を求める要望書を都に提出した。三鷹市はＰＶ中止は求めない方針だが、１日２万人とされる参加者の削減など感染対策徹底を都に要請。７日には同公園にワクチン接種会場を作るよう追加で要請した。
　１２００人収容の講堂大ホールで都のＰＶが開かれる都立大南大沢キャンパス（八王子市）。教職員で構成する同大労働組合は２日、講堂貸し出しに反対する声明を発表した。「今は学生が安心安全に教育が受けられるために全力を尽くすべきだ」と主張している。
　こうした声に対し、小池百合子知事は４日の記者会見で「今後のコロナの状況や組織委のガイドラインなどを踏まえての準備、調整となる」と説明。「密を避ける（参加者の）事前予約など工夫している」とも述べたが、具体策はまだ公表していない。
　地方自治が専門の礒崎初仁中央大教授は「変異株が広がる中、会場の地元が感染を心配するのは当然。都は説明責任を果たす義務がある」と指摘。実施する場合も「懸念を払拭（ふっしょく）する徹底的な対策が必要だ」と話した。（2021/06/10-07:12）

Some municipalities and others in Tokyo have voiced concerns over the possibility of the novel coronavirus spreading from planned public viewing venues for the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer.
   The prefectural government of Saitama, north of Tokyo, has decided to cancel its plan to set up two public viewing venues in light of the need to reduce infection risks.
   Meanwhile, the Tokyo metropolitan government has yet to clarify its response to such concerns. "The metropolitan government should hold a meeting with parties concerned and listen to their opinions," an expert said.
   The Tokyo government plans to set up two live public viewing venues in the Japanese capital, where visitors will also be able to try Olympic and Paralympic sports, in cooperation with the Tokyo Games organizing committee. In addition, the metropolitan government will open four public viewing sites on its own.
   It has been decided that one of the two joint sites, to be set up at Yoyogi Park in Shibuya Ward, will serve as a COVID-19 vaccination venue during the Olympics. Talks are underway for using the site for public viewing during the Paralympics, as initially planned.
