小４男児、遺体で発見＝首絞められ殺害か－自宅の集合住宅内・さいたま

　１７日午後８時２０分ごろ、さいたま市見沼区大谷に住む女性から、「英会話塾から子どもが帰って来ない」と１１０番があった。埼玉県警大宮東署などが捜索したところ、自宅の集合住宅内で１８日未明、息子の市立小４年進藤遼佑君（９）の遺体が発見された。首に絞められたような痕があり、同署は殺害された可能性があるとみて調べている。
　同署によると、進藤君の遺体は集合住宅建物の共同スペース内で見つかり、首を絞められた痕のほかには、目立った外傷はなかった。Ｔシャツに半ズボン姿で靴は履いていない状態だった。
　集合住宅は県の教職員用で、進藤君は両親と３人暮らし。１１０番当時、両親は自宅にいたといい、同署は詳しい経緯を聞いている。
　市教育委員会は進藤君が通っていた小学校に職員を派遣。トラブルなどがなかったか調査に乗り出した。
　現場はＪＲ大宮駅から北東約３キロ、東武野田線大和田駅の南東約１．５キロの住宅やマンションなどが立ち並ぶ地域。（2019/09/18-12:40）

The body of a nine-year-old boy who had apparently been strangled was found in a housing complex in Saitama Prefecture, eastern Japan, in the early hours of Wednesday.
   According to the Saitama prefectural police department, the body of Ryosuke Shindo, an elementary school fourth-grader, was discovered in a common space in the condominium in the city of Saitama for prefectural school staff, where Ryosuke and his parents live.
   The police are investigating the incident as a suspected murder.
   Investigators' search for Ryosuke started after his mother called police around 8:20 p.m. Tuesday (11:20 a.m. GMT), because he had not returned home from an English conversation school.
