デジタル本部、月内設置＝巨大ＩＴ規制、年内にも法案－未来投資会議

　政府は１９日、内閣改造後初となる未来投資会議（議長・安倍晋三首相）を開催し、新たな成長戦略の策定に向けた討議を始めた。米グーグルなど巨大ＩＴ企業の規制強化を検討する「デジタル市場競争本部」を月内に設置することを決めたほか、新産業への投資促進策などを協議した。
　政府は、ＩＴ企業規制を定める「デジタル・プラットフォーマー取引透明化法案」の年内策定を予定。新設されるデジタル本部は近く初会合を開き、本格的な法案の検討や政策立案を始める。
　デジタル本部は菅義偉官房長官を本部長に、菅原一秀経済産業相ら関係閣僚の１０人程度で構成。杉本和行公正取引委員長も出席する。下部組織として松尾豊東大院教授ら５人の有識者が加わる「デジタル市場競争会議」を置く。
　安倍首相は会議でＩＴ規制について「取引の透明化や個人情報保護の在り方などの結論を年内に得てほしい」と求めた。（2019/09/19-20:57）

The Japanese government decided Thursday to set up this month a headquarters to discuss tougher regulations on global information technology giants.
   At the day's meeting of a future investment panel, chaired by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, participants also talked about how to promote investment in new industries, as part of work to draw up a new growth strategy. This was the first meeting of the panel since Abe reshuffled his cabinet on Sept. 11.
   The government plans to draft within this year a bill on regulations on IT firms. The envisioned digital market competition headquarters will hold its first meeting shortly to launch full-fledged discussions on the planned bill and policy planning.
   The headquarters, to be led by Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga, will comprise about 10 ministers, including Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Isshu Sugawara. Fair Trade Commission Chairman Kazuyuki Sugimoto will also join the headquarters.
   A subgroup of five experts, including University of Tokyo Prof. Yutaka Matsuo, will be set up under the headquarters.
