東電、「停電復旧２７日」２０自治体に減少＝台風１５号、作業やや前進

　東京電力パワーグリッドは１７日夜記者会見し、台風１５号の被害に伴う千葉県内の停電について、復旧まで最大で２７日までかかると見込まれる自治体数が２０に減少したと明らかにした。２０自治体の中には鋸南町や富津市などが含まれる。１４日夜の段階では２２自治体と推計しており、これまでの想定に比べやや復旧が進む見通しだ。
　停電戸数は１７日午後１１時現在で依然５万５６００戸残っている。
　記者会見した同社の塩川和幸技監は「被害が少ない地域についてはもっと早い段階で回復したい」と述べ、さらに作業を加速する意向を強調。同社は復旧に時間を要する自治体に対しては携帯用の発電機や充電器を貸し出し、被災住民の生活支援に取り組む。
　ただ、塩川氏は「２７日までにおおむね復旧」との想定を維持しつつも、倒木などの被害がひどい一部の地域については、同日以降になる可能性があると説明。「２７日までに絶対に県内全域が復旧するとは言えない」と述べた。（2019/09/17-23:52）

The number of municipalities in the typhoon-hit eastern Japan prefecture of Chiba where it will likely take until Sept. 27 at the latest for power supply to be restored now stands at 20, TEPCO Power Grid Inc. said Tuesday.
   The estimated number of such Chiba municipalities decreased from the 22 as of Saturday night. The 20 municipalities include the city of Futtsu and the town of Kyonan, according to the unit of Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Inc. .
   As of 11 p.m. Tuesday (2 p.m. GMT), some 55,600 households were out of electricity.
   "We hope to resolve the power outages earlier in areas with relatively minor damage" from Typhoon Faxai, which struck the prefecture last week, TEPCO Power Grid senior engineer Kazuyuki Shiokawa, told a press conference on Tuesday night, stressing the company's intension to accelerate the power restoration work further.
   The firm plans to distribute portable power generators and rechargers to municipalities where the recovery work is expected to take longer, as part of measures to support affected residents.
