東電社長、「重く受け止める」　原発処理水の海洋放出決定

Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Inc. takes seriously a Japanese government decision to release treated radioactive water from its stricken Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant into the ocean, its president, Tomoaki Kobayakawa, said Tuesday.
"We will pay compensation appropriately" if the ocean release of the treated water causes reputational damage to fishery and other products," Kobayakawa told reporters after the government made the decision at a meeting of related ministers earlier in the day.
