安倍首相、増税影響「十二分に目配り」＝北朝鮮制裁、完全履行へ努力－衆院予算委

　衆院予算委員会は１０日午前、安倍晋三首相と全閣僚が出席して基本的質疑に入った。首相は消費税増税に関し、キャッシュレス決済によるポイント還元制度などの対策に触れ、「これらが円滑に実施されるか引き続き注視し、景気、消費に対する影響について十二分に目配りをしていきたい」と語った。自民党の岸田文雄政調会長への答弁。

　首相は北朝鮮の核・ミサイル開発に関し、「国連安全保障理事会決議を完全に履行していくことが大切だ」と指摘。「さらに多くの国々が履行するよう強い働き掛けをこれからも行っていきたい」と述べ、制裁網維持の必要性を強調した。（2019/10/10-12:20）

The Japanese government will continue paying careful attention to any impact on the economy from the Oct. 1 consumption tax increase, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Thursday.
   Referring to measures aimed at alleviating the tax hike impact, such as a point reward program for cashless payments, Abe said, "The government will continue watching closely whether these measures are implemented smoothly and keep a careful watch on the (tax hike's) effects on the economy and consumption."
   He made the remarks at a meeting of the Budget Committee of the House of Representatives, the lower chamber of parliament.
   Also at the meeting, Abe said it is important to fully implement U.N. Security Council resolutions against North Korea in urging Pyongyang to give up its nuclear and missile development programs.
   Japan "will continue efforts so that the resolutions are carried out by more countries," Abe said.
