「表現の不自由展」再開＝少女像など中止前と同内容－２カ月ぶり、入場者抽選・愛知

　国際芸術祭「あいちトリエンナーレ２０１９」で、従軍慰安婦を象徴する少女像が展示された企画展「表現の不自由展・その後」が抗議を受け中止となった問題で、愛知県は８日、約２カ月ぶりに企画展を再開した。問題となった少女像を含む２３作品は中止前と同じ状態で展示され、混乱を避けるため、入場者を抽選で１回当たり３０人に制限した。会期は１４日まで。
　手荷物は貴重品以外を預かり、金属探知機で所持品を検査するなど警備体制を強化した。入場者は事前に作品解説の教育プログラムを受け、会場内はガイドが帯同。作品の動画撮影は禁止された。

　８日は２回開催され、１回目は７０９人、２回目は６４９人が応募した。１回目の入場者は午後２時すぎから約１時間、作品を鑑賞。２回目は当選した３０人のうち１人が辞退し、２９人が午後４時半ごろから約４０分間、会場内を見て回った。
　芸術祭の実行委員会事務局によると、会場内で大きな混乱もなく、９日以降は見学回数を増やす方向で検討する。（2019/10/08-19:28）

Aichi Prefecture reopened a controversial exhibition featuring a statue of a girl symbolizing so-called comfort women on Tuesday, about two months after it was suspended in the wake of a storm of protest.
   All 23 artworks, including the statue, are shown in the same setting as before the cancellation. To avoid turmoil, a lottery system has been introduced to manage entry, allowing 30 people to visit the exhibition at one time.
   The reopened "After 'Freedom of Expression?'" exhibition is part of the Aichi Triennale 2019 art festival, being held in the central Japan prefecture of Aichi. The festival is scheduled to end Monday.
   Security measures have been tightened for the exhibition, with visitors prohibited from bringing in their personal belongings except valuable items and things carried by them being subject to checks with a metal detector. Visitors are also required to take an educational program on the artworks before entering the exhibition and be accompanied by guides while touring it. Video filming of the exhibition is not allowed.
   On Tuesday, the exhibition was scheduled to be opened to visitors twice. Some 700 people applied for the first lottery on the day, and the 30 people who won started to view the works at the event shortly after 2 p.m. (5 a.m. GMT).
