求人１．３０倍、２カ月連続低下　失業率は２．５％―６月

　厚生労働省が１日発表した６月の有効求人倍率（季節調整値）は、前月比０．０１ポイント低下の１．３０倍だった。低下は２カ月連続。物価の高騰で家計が圧迫されており、生活防衛のために求職活動を始める人が増えていることが背景にある。
　有効求人倍率は、ハローワークで仕事を探す求職者１人に対し、何人分の求人があるかを示す。
　６月は、有効求職者数が０．６％増加した。厚労省によると、物価高の影響で、中高年でパートを中心に職を求める動きが活発化。６５歳以上では「年金だけでは生活が苦しく、少しでも働きたい」などが理由に挙げられたという。
　一方、有効求人数はほぼ横ばい。建設業や製造業では人件費や原材料費の増加から、求人を控える企業があったが、飲食サービス業ではコロナ禍で従業員を減らしていた企業からの求人申し込みもあったという。
　総務省が同日発表した６月の労働力調査によると、完全失業率（季節調整値）は前月比０．１ポイント低下の２．５％だった。完全失業者数（同）は１７３万人で、４万人減少した。人手不足などを受け、仕事を探していた人が職に就くことができたとみられる。（2023/08/01-11:15）

Japan's seasonally adjusted ratio of effective job openings to seekers in June fell 0.01 point from the previous month to 1.30, down for the second consecutive month, the labor ministry said Tuesday.
   The decline reflected an increase in people seeking employment to maintain their standards of living, as inflation weighs on household finances, ministry officials said.
   The ratio represents the number of job openings available to each seeker registered with Hello Work public job placement centers across the country.
   The number of effective job seekers increased 0.6 pct as middle-aged people, struggling with inflation, increasingly looked for work, especially part-time jobs.
   Job seekers aged 65 and older said they wanted to work as much as possible as it was hard to live with just pension benefits, according to the ministry.
