興行ビザ、１日から要件緩和　滞在３０日、公演容易に

　政府は１日から、外国人歌手や役者らが日本に入国する際に取得する「興行ビザ」の要件を緩和する。従来の滞在期間「１５日以内」を「３０日以内」に拡大することなどが柱。国内の公演を容易にし、国際的な文化交流を活発化させる狙いがある。
　政府はこれまで興行ビザ取得に関し、(1)報酬が１日５０万円以上で滞在期間が１５日以内(2)客席の定員が１００人以上で飲食物の有償提供がない―などの要件を規定。いずれかを満たすよう求めていた。
　１日からは滞在期間を「３０日以内」に拡大。「客席」にはライブハウスなどの立ち見も含めるほか、飲食物の有償提供も認める。
　また、従来は要件を満たさない外国人に対し、「２年以上の海外の活動経験」や、「１３平方メートル以上の舞台」などの要件を課していたが、これも緩和する。イベント主催者が外国人興行に関する３年以上の実績があるなどの条件を満たせば、経験や会場の規模は問わない。
　興行ビザを巡っては、取得要件の厳格さから若手アーティストの入国が困難になっているとの指摘が音楽・芸能関係者から上がっていた。政府としては、要件緩和によりデビューして間もない人でも訪日が可能となる環境を整えたい考え。（2023/08/01-07:37）

The Japanese government Tuesday relaxed requirements for working visas for foreign entertainers, such as singers and actors, to allow such people to perform in Japan more easily and promote international cultural exchanges.
   The period of stay under the visas was extended to up to 30 days from up to 15 days. Venue requirements were eased to include clubs with live music, with food and beverage sales newly allowed during performances by foreign entertainers.
   Previously, foreign entertainers hoping to obtain the visas were required to earn at least 500,000 yen a day while in Japan or perform at venues with seating capacities of at least 100 people where no food or beverages were sold.
   Entertainers not satisfying these requirements needed to have at least two years of experiences in overseas entertainment activities and meet some other criteria. Beginning Tuesday, however, they no longer need to meet the criteria if organizers of events they will participate in have at least three years of experiences in hosting performances by foreigners.
   Entertainment industry people criticized the previous rules as too severe, saying that the rules made it difficult for young artists from abroad to tour Japan.
