徴用工問題「日本は立場一貫」＝茂木外相、現金化けん制－菅官房長官

　韓国人元徴用工への賠償を日本企業に命じた韓国最高裁判決から３０日で１年となることに関し、菅義偉官房長官は２９日の記者会見で「わが国の立場は一貫しており、変更はない」と述べ、１９６５年の日韓請求権協定に従い韓国側で解決を図るべきだとの考えを強調した。また、茂木敏充外相は会見で、原告側が差し押さえた日本企業資産が現金化される可能性があることに対し、「あってはならない。そのような場合は日韓関係はさらに深刻な状況になる」と韓国側をけん制した。
　一方、日韓両政府が徴用工問題の事態収拾に向け、韓国の政府と企業が経済協力名目の基金を創設し、日本企業も参加するとの合意案の検討に着手したとする一部報道について、菅氏は「そのような事実はない」と語った。（2019/10/29-12:17）

Japan reiterated its demand on Tuesday that South Korea act to resolve the issue of wartime labor based on a 1965 bilateral agreement.
   "Our country's stance is consistent and is not going to be changed," Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said at a press conference.
   The remarks came as Wednesday marks a year since the South Korean Supreme Court handed down the first in a series of rulings ordering Japanese companies to compensate conscripted workers from the Korean Peninsula before and during World War II.
   Tokyo argues that all South Korean claims for wartime damage had been addressed by the 1965 agreement.
   At a separate news conference, Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi warned South Korean plaintiffs against selling assets seized from Japanese companies.
