世耕氏、参院幹事長に起用へ＝内閣改造、横畠法制局長官は退任

　安倍晋三首相（自民党総裁）は１１日の内閣改造・自民党役員人事で、世耕弘成経済産業相を交代させる調整に入った。世耕氏は参院幹事長に就く見通し。首相は内閣改造に合わせて横畠裕介内閣法制局長官の退任も調整している。
　首相は８日、麻生太郎副総理兼財務相と約１時間半、東京・富ケ谷の私邸で会談。人事や今後の政権運営をめぐって意見交換したとみられる。
　世耕氏は首相側近の一人。官房副長官を経て２０１６年８月に経産相に就き、ロシア経済分野協力担当相を兼務している。首相が信頼を寄せていた前参院幹事長の吉田博美氏が引退し、政権運営を安定させる上で焦点のポストとなっていた。
　今回の人事について、首相は「安定と挑戦」を重視する方針を示している。政権の「骨格」と位置付ける麻生氏や菅義偉官房長官らを除き、閣僚は大幅な入れ替えを検討している。
　横畠氏は１４年５月、前法制局長官の小松一郎氏ががん治療のため退き、内閣法制次長から起用された。在任期間が５年を超え、交代が適当と判断したとみられる。横畠氏の後任には近藤正春内閣法制次長を昇格させる見通しだ。（2019/09/09-07:05）

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is planning to appoint Hiroshige Seko, minister of economy, trade and industry, as secretary-general of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party in the House of Councillors, the upper chamber of parliament, informed sources said Sunday.
   Abe, also LDP president, will make the appointment in the reshuffle of the cabinet and the LDP leadership team on Wednesday.
   In line with the reshuffle, Abe is arranging the replacement of Cabinet Legislation Bureau Director-General Yusuke Yokobatake, according to the sources.
   Abe held talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Taro Aso on Sunday. They are believed to have exchanged views on personnel affairs and government management.
   Seko, a close aide to Abe, took the current post in August 2016 after serving as deputy chief cabinet secretary. In the current post, he is concurrently minister for economic cooperation with Russia.
