韓国と１１日にＷＴＯ協議＝半導体材料の輸出管理で対立－経産省

　経済産業省は１０日、輸出管理の強化をめぐり韓国が日本に要請した世界貿易機関（ＷＴＯ）協定に基づく２国間協議をスイス・ジュネーブのＷＴＯ本部で１１日に実施すると発表した。同省は「（安全保障の観点から）輸出管理の運用見直しはＷＴＯ協定に整合的だ」と韓国に反論する方針。
　日本は７月、韓国の貿易管理体制に安保上の懸念があるとして、フッ化水素など半導体材料３品目の輸出管理を強化した。韓国は徴用工問題などを受けた「政治的動機で行われた」と反発して、９月にＷＴＯに提訴していた。（2019/10/10-10:38）

Tokyo and Seoul will hold bilateral talks on stricter Japanese export controls in Geneva on Friday under the World Trade Organization's dispute settlement procedures, Japan's trade ministry said Thursday.
   Japan plans to say that the review of its export control system is consistent with the WTO rules, the ministry said. South Korea requested such discussions.
   In July, Japan tightened its controls on exports of three semiconductor materials to South Korea, citing security concerns related to the country's trade control system.
   South Korea filed a complaint with the WTO in September, claiming that Japan took the measure for political reasons amid rows over wartime labor and other bilateral issues.
   Japan and South Korea are unlikely to reach a settlement through the bilateral talks, given the wide gap between the two countries.
