京アニ事件の青葉容疑者、車いすでリハビリ

　アニメ制作会社「京都アニメーション」第１スタジオ（京都市伏見区）で３６人が犠牲になった放火殺人事件で、全身に大やけどを負い入院中の青葉真司容疑者（４１）＝さいたま市見沼区、殺人容疑などで逮捕状＝が、介助を受けて車いすに座るなどのリハビリを始めたことが９日、捜査関係者への取材で分かった。
　捜査関係者によると、青葉容疑者は介助を受けてベッドから体を起こしたり、車いすに座ったりしているという。
　京都府警は同容疑者の回復を待って逮捕する方針だが、留置に耐えられる状態となるには時間がかかる見通しという。（2019/10/09-12:04）

Hospitalized KyoAni Arsonist Begins Rehab Treatment

The Kyoto Animation Co. arson attack suspect has started rehabilitation treatment such as sitting in a wheelchair with the help of care staff, investigative sources said Wednesday.
   The July 18 attack on a studio of the anime production company, known as KyoAni, in Kyoto Prefecture, western Japan, claimed the lives of 36 people and injured many others.
   The suspect, Shinji Aoba, 41, has been hospitalized for severe burns suffered in the incident.
   According to the sources, Aoba is also sitting up in his bed with the help of care staff.
   The Kyoto prefectural police department plans to arrest Aoba after he recovers sufficiently, but it is expected to take a while for him to improve enough to be detained, the sources said.
