「地方創生ＳＤＧｓ」登録制度＝企業を認証、２０年度から－内閣府

　内閣府は、国連が提唱する「持続可能な開発目標（ＳＤＧｓ）」に沿った活動を行い、地方創生に生かす取り組みをしている民間企業を登録・認証する制度を創設する。同府は２０２０年度からの段階的な実施を目指し、先進自治体などと制度の検討を進めている。地方の企業の活動内容を可視化して、「地方創生ＳＤＧｓ」を広めたい考えだ。
　地方創生ＳＤＧｓの取り組みは、企業が自治体に申請すれば登録できる仕組みを検討している。対象は、大企業の地方支店や個人事業主を含めた民間事業者を想定。広く応募者を募り、登録事業者を増やすことを目指す。（2019/10/07-16:02）

The Cabinet Office will set up a system to register and certify private companies engaging in activities that are in line with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals and contribute to regional revitalization, it was learned Monday.
   To phase in the system, starting in fiscal 2020, the central government agency is studying its design with local governments with advanced approaches to the SDGs, which include eradicating poverty, achieving gender equality and ensuring access to affordable, clean energy, officials said.
   The agency hopes to let more people know about the SDGs for regional revitalization by making regional companies' activities visible to outsiders, they said.
   The envisioned system would allow companies to register their efforts on the SDGs by filing applications with local governments. The agency plans to make this available to a wide variety of private business operators, ranging from the regional offices of big companies to the self-employed, so that many will register.
   The agency plans to certify registered operators after they satisfy certain criteria, such as passing a screening by a third-party organization, the officials said.
