停電５５万軒、影響続く＝治療困難、学校も休み－台風１５号、８５０人避難・千葉

　台風１５号の被害を受けた千葉県では１０日も、多くの地域で停電や断水が復旧せず、住民生活に大きな影響を及ぼした。県によると、県内全域で約５５万軒で停電し、約８万４０００戸で断水。約８５０人が避難所生活を強いられた。
　同県君津市の鈴木病院では９日朝から停電が発生。治療が困難となった入院患者９９人が９日夕から１０日午前にかけて、市内の君津中央病院に搬送された。鈴木病院の職員は「電気が通るまで診療はできないだろう」と肩を落とした。
　停電や断水により、学校生活にも大きな支障が出た。県や千葉市によると、６００以上の小中高校、幼稚園、特別支援学校が１０日、休業または一部休業に。県の沢川和宏教育長は「停電や断水が広域で、復旧しないと学校を開けられない。いつまで続くのか気がかりだ」と言及。９日から休校している千葉市内の中学校の職員は「トイレも使えない。あすについては朝に判断する」と話した。（2019/09/10-19:19）

Many households remained without electricity and water in Chiba Prefecture, east of Tokyo, on Tuesday, one day after Typhoon Faxai, the 15th typhoon of the year, hit the region.
   Some 550,000 homes were without power, while about 84,000 houses were without water, prefectural officials said. About 850 people were in shelter.
   A hospital in Kimitsu has been unable to provide treatment to patients since losing electricity Monday morning, forcing 99 inpatients to be moved to another hospital in the city in a process completed Tuesday morning.
   More than 600 nursery, elementary, junior high and high schools were out of session Tuesday due to the loss of electricity and water.
   "Electricity and water are not available in wide areas. Unless they are restored, schools will remain closed. I'm concerned about how long things will remain the same," prefectural education chief Kazuhiro Sawakawa said.
