輸入車販売、５年連続増＝増税前駆け込みは限定的－１９年度上半期

　日本自動車輸入組合が４日発表した２０１９年度上半期（４～９月）の外国車の販売台数は、前年同期比１．８％増の１５万２２４０台だった。上半期としては５年連続のプラスで、１５万台を超えるのは２３年ぶり。各社による新型モデルの積極的な投入が主因とみられる一方、１０月の消費税増税前の駆け込み需要は限定的だった。
　ブランド別に見ると、ドイツのメルセデス・ベンツが３万１７４２台で５年連続の首位。独ＢＭＷ、独フォルクスワーゲンと続いた。車種別では、環境性能が売り物のクリーンディーゼル車や、スポーツ用多目的車（ＳＵＶ）が人気を集めた。同組合は「下半期も販売は堅調に推移する」と見込むなど、過去の消費税増税後のような需要急減の可能性は低いとみている。（2019/10/04-14:28）

Sales of imported foreign-brand vehicles in Japan in April-September rose 1.8 pct from a year before to 152,240 units, marking the fifth straight fiscal first-half increase, industry data showed Friday.
The growth was apparently led by the introduction of new models, while there was no particular spike in demand in the lead-up to Tuesday's consumption tax increase.
