川内原発１号機、来年３月から９カ月停止＝テロ対策遅れ－九州電力
九州電力は３日、テロ対策施設の建設遅れで川内原発１号機（鹿児島県薩摩川内市）を２０２０年３月１６日から約９カ月、川内２号機（同）を同５月２０日から約８カ月、それぞれ運転停止すると発表した。テロ対策施設「特定重大事故等対処施設」の完成遅れによる原発停止は全国初。この結果、１号機は２０年１２月２６日、２号機は２１年１月２６日に発電を再開し、その１カ月後に営業運転に復帰する計画だ。（2019/10/03-20:47）
2 Kyushu Elec Reactors to Be Halted for Delayed Antiterror Work
Kyushu Electric Power Co. is set to suspend operations at two reactors at its Sendai nuclear power station in southwestern Japan, due to a delay in the construction of facilities to be used in the event of terrorist attacks.
The No. 1 reactor at the plant in the city of Satsumasendai, Kagoshima Prefecture, part of the Kyushu region, will be halted for about nine months from March 16, 2020, and the No. 2 reactor for about eight months from May 20 the same year, the power company said Thursday.
