旭日大綬章に榊原定征氏　外国人でビル・ゲイツ氏―春の叙勲

　政府は２９日、春の叙勲受章者４１８１人を発表した。榊原定征前経団連会長（７７）や岡部喜代子（７１）、鬼丸かおる（７１）両元最高裁判事ら６人が旭日大綬章を受章。外国人叙勲でも旭日大綬章に米マイクロソフト共同創業者兼元ＣＥＯのビル・ゲイツ氏（６４）ら２人が選ばれた。発令は２９日付。
　旭日大綬章はほかに荻田伍アサヒグループホールディングス相談役（７８）、竹歳誠前官房副長官（７０）、常盤百樹元四国電力社長（７８）。瑞宝大綬章は折木良一元統合幕僚長（７０）、旭日重光章は万歳章元全国農業協同組合中央会（ＪＡ全中）会長（７４）らに贈られる。
　芸術文化の分野では、芥川賞作家の宮本輝（本名宮本正仁）さん（７３）、紬織（つむぎおり）作家で人間国宝の村上良子さん（７０）らが旭日小綬章。アイヌ政策の推進に貢献した加藤忠北海道アイヌ協会理事長（８１）も旭日小綬章が決まった。
　受章者の内訳は、大綬章７人、重光章３８人、中綬章３４８人、小綬章９５３人、双光章１５２６人、単光章１３０９人。女性の受章者は４１２人（９．９％）で、２００３年秋の叙勲制度改正以降、過去最多だった。
　１６年に外国人叙勲の発令数を増やす方針が閣議了解され、１７年秋以降は１３０～１４０人台で推移。今回は５７の国・地域の１１７人にとどまった。新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大が影響したとみられる。
　政府は、５月に皇居で親授式と伝達式を予定していたが、新型コロナの影響で延期。天皇陛下は例年、中綬章から単光章までの受章者と皇居で面会されるが、今回は中止が決まった。（2020/04/29-05:23）

The Japanese government said Wednesday that a total of 4,181 people, including Sadayuki Sakakibara, former chairman of the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren), the country's biggest business lobby, will receive decorations in this year's spring honors.
   The Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun will be given to six Japanese--Sakakibara, 77, former Supreme Court Justices Kiyoko Okabe, 71, and Kaoru Onimaru, 71, Hitoshi Ogita, 78, consultant at major beverage maker Asahi Group Holdings Ltd. , former Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary Makoto Taketoshi, 70, and former Shikoku Electric Power Co. President Momoki Tokiwa, 78.
   Two foreigners will also receive the same honor. They are Bill Gates, 64, co-founder and former chief executive officer of U.S. technology giant Microsoft Corp. and Ram Chandra Paudel, 76, former speaker of Nepal's House of Representatives, the lower chamber of the Himalayan country's parliament.
   Ryoichi Oriki, 70, former chief of staff of the Joint Office at Japan's Defense Ministry, will receive the Grand Cordon of the Order of the Sacred Treasure.
   In the art and culture field, author Teru Miyamoto, 73, whose real name is Masahito Miyamoto, and others will be awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette.
