チャーター機第５便、１６日派遣　茂木氏「一区切り付けたい」

　茂木敏充外相は１４日の記者会見で、新型コロナウイルスの感染が広がる中国湖北省に残る在留邦人とその家族を退避させるためのチャーター機第５便を、１６日に武漢へ派遣する方向で調整を進めていると明らかにした。帰国は１７日になる見通し。
　会見で、茂木氏は「第５便をもって、チャーター機による帰国オペレーションにとりあえずの一区切りを付けたい」と表明。搭乗者数については「これまでの４便は２００人前後の方だったが、その数から比べるとだいぶ少なくなる」との見通しを示した。（2020/02/14-11:59）

Japan to Dispatch 5th Evacuation Charter Sunday

The Japanese government is making arrangements to send a fifth charter plane on Sunday to bring home Japanese nationals and their families from coronavirus-hit Hubei Province, China, Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi said Friday.
   The plane is expected to return home on Monday.
   The fifth dispatch will put an end to evacuation operations, Motegi said at a press conference.
   He said the number of Japanese nationals and their families using the fifth plane is forecast to fall considerably from the fourth, which carried around 200.
   The government dispatched the first four planes to the Hubei capital of Wuhan between Jan. 28 and Feb. 7. The number of Japanese citizens and their families who have returned home so far totals 763.
