８月機械受注、０．５％減　２カ月連続マイナス―内閣府

　内閣府が１２日発表した８月の機械受注統計（季節調整値）によると、企業の設備投資の先行指標となる民間需要（変動の大きい船舶・電力を除く）の受注額は前月比０．５％減の８４０７億円となった。非製造業の一部で電子計算機などの需要が落ち込み、２カ月連続でマイナスとなった。
　基調判断は「足踏みが見られる」と、昨年１１月から１０カ月連続で同じ表現に据え置いた。（2023/10/12-10:49）

Japan's seasonally adjusted core machinery orders fell 0.5 pct in August from the previous month, down for the second straight month, due to sluggish demand for computers among some nonmanufacturers, the Cabinet Office said Thursday.
   Private-sector orders excluding those for ships and power equipment, closely watched as a leading indicator of corporate capital spending, totaled 840.7 billion yen.
   The Cabinet Office maintained its basic assessment for the 10th consecutive month, saying that machinery orders appear to be at a standstill.
   Of the core private-sector orders, those from manufacturers rose 2.2 pct to 415.7 billion yen, the first rise in two months.
   Demand for metalworking machines and machine tools increased in the automobile and auto accessory industries. Orders grew for transport machines in the general-purpose and production machinery industries and for chemical machinery in the chemical industry.
