パレスチナ情勢で連携　日ＵＡＥ外相が電話会談

　上川陽子外相は１０日（日本時間同）、訪問先のベトナムでアラブ首長国連邦（ＵＡＥ）のアブドラ外相と電話会談した。上川氏は、パレスチナ自治区ガザを実効支配するイスラム組織ハマスとイスラエルの大規模な戦闘について「深刻な懸念」を表明。「事態のさらなるエスカレーションを防ぐため、ＵＡＥと連携したい」と伝えた。両氏は国連安全保障理事会を含め、引き続き協力していくことで一致した。（2023/10/11-00:10）

Japan, UAE Foreign Chiefs Agree to Cooperate over Palestinian Issue

Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa and her counterpart from the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, discussed the Israeli-Palestinian situation, affirming cooperation over the matter.
Holding phone talks with Abdullah on Tuesday, during her stay in Vietnam, Kamikawa voiced "great concern" over the large-scale fighting between Palestinian militant group Hamas, which effectively controls the Gaza Strip, and Israel, according to the Japanese Foreign Ministry.
She said Japan wants to continue to work with the UAE in efforts to prevent further escalation of the situation. The two ministers agreed to maintain close cooperation, including in the U.N. Security Council, the ministry said.
