政府、米ＭＳから生成ＡＩ技術提供　国会答弁で活用検討

　政府が、米マイクロソフトから文章や画像などを自動作成する生成ＡＩ（人工知能）に関する技術提供を受けることが分かった。国会答弁の下書きや議事録作成などでの活用を検討している。関係者が２７日、明らかにした。
　提供を受けるのは、マイクロソフトと提携する米オープンＡＩが開発した対話型ＡＩ「チャットＧＰＴ」の基盤技術。デジタル庁が利用する方向で調整している。マイクロソフトは、日本国内のデータセンターに専用サーバーを設置する方針だ。
　これに関し、松野博一官房長官は記者会見で「国内のデータセンターでチャットＧＰＴが使用可能となることは、わが国のＡＩ活用の観点から重要な取り組みだ。歓迎したい」と述べた。（2023/07/27-11:49）

Microsoft to Provide Generative AI Tech to Japan Govt

U.S. technology giant Microsoft Corp. will provide its generative artificial intelligence technology to the Japanese government, informed source said Thursday.
   The government is considering using the technology to draft answers to questions from members of the Diet, Japan's parliament, and compile minutes of meetings.
   Microsoft will make available the basic technology of the ChatGPT generative AI tool developed by OpenAI, a tie-up partner of Microsoft.
   The Digital Agency is expected to utilize the technology, the sources said.
   Microsoft plans to set up a dedicated server for the government at a data center in Japan.
