個人情報保護委、デジタル庁を検査 マイナ巡り、行政指導も視野
政府の個人情報保護委員会は１９日、トラブルが相次ぐマイナンバー制度を所管するデジタル庁に対し、マイナンバー法に基づき立ち入り検査を実施した。政府や地方自治体から給付金を受け取るための公金受取口座に他人の情報がひも付けられていた問題の詳細な調査が目的。同委は「リスク管理や対策ができていなかった」と同庁の対応を問題視しており、行政指導も視野に入れる。
公金受取口座のひも付けは、同庁が管理するシステムで登録が行われている。個人情報委は６月３０日に同庁から報告書を受け取ったが、「報告書のみでは十分に個人情報の取り扱い状況を把握することはできない」と判断。実態を詳しく解明するため、検査実施に踏み切った。（2023/07/19-18:16）
Japan Govt Inspects Digital Agency over My Number Mess
Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission on Wednesday conducted an on-site inspection of the Digital Agency over a series of problems involving My Number personal identification numbers.
The government commission believes that the agency failed to control risks and take countermeasures for cases in which My Number identification numbers were wrongly linked with the bank accounts of other people.
So far, the commission has pointed out the agency's failure to control risks and ensure that local governments handle My Number-related devices properly.
Based on the on-site investigation, the commission may issue administrative guidance to the agency, people familiar with the matter said.
