北朝鮮が巡航ミサイル発射　多種類の運用能力誇示

　【ソウル時事】北朝鮮は２２日午前１０時１５分（日本時間同）ごろから巡航ミサイル数発を日本海に発射した。韓国軍は発射地点を東部・咸鏡南道咸興付近と特定した。北朝鮮は１９日に短距離弾道ミサイル１発を発射したばかり。
　北朝鮮は、米国と韓国が１３～２３日の日程で実施している合同軍事演習に対抗してミサイル発射を繰り返してきた。演習期間中の発射は４回目になる。１４日には短距離弾道ミサイル２発を、１６日には全米を射程に収めるとされる大陸間弾道ミサイル（ＩＣＢＭ）「火星１７」を撃った。さまざまな飛距離や種類のミサイルを運用し、米韓による探知や迎撃を避ける能力を高める狙いとみられる。
　韓国メディアは２２日のミサイルについて、長距離巡航ミサイルの可能性があると報じた。米国製巡航ミサイル「トマホーク」になぞらえ、韓国では「北朝鮮版トマホーク」とも呼ばれる。（2023/03/22-20:30）

N. Korea Fires Cruise Missiles toward Sea of Japan

North Korea fired several cruise missiles toward the Sea of Japan on Wednesday, the South Korean military said.
   North Korea started firing the missiles around 10:15 a.m. (1:15 a.m. GMT) from an area around the city of Hamhung, South Hamgyong Province, eastern North Korea, according to the military.
   The move came after the reclusive country fired a short-range ballistic missile toward the Sea of Japan on Sunday.
   The series of missile launches is apparently aimed at showing Pyongyang's frustration at ongoing joint military exercises by the United States and South Korea, slated to run through Thursday.
