金色バスお披露目＝金塊のまちＰＲ－兵庫・淡路市

　平成初めのふるさと創生事業で交付された１億円を担保にレンタルした金塊を展示し、話題になった兵庫県淡路市（旧津名町）で１５日、車体を金色に装飾した市バスが公開された。金塊のまちを改めてＰＲする作戦で、市内の路線バスとして１０月から運行する。
　愛称は「ゴールデンドリームバス」。車体の側面には招き猫や七福神などのイラストをあしらった。内装もシートを金色にするなど高級感を出し、窓ガラス上部には１億円金塊の歩みを記した。
　運行時間やルートは明かされない。市は「見ると一日幸せになり、乗ると金運が訪れる」と、観光資源にも生かす考え。門康彦市長は「金塊バスで平成の大事業を令和で再生させる」と語った。（2019/09/15-15:09）

The city government of Awaji, Hyogo Prefecture, western Japan, unveiled on Sunday a bus painted gold with funds from state subsidies granted 30 years ago under a regional revitalization project.
   The former town of Tsuna, now part of Awaji, attracted wide attention when it used 100 million yen in subsidies to rent and showcase gold bullion in 1989 by putting up the money as collateral. The no-strings grant was provided soon after the current Heisei era started the same year.
   The city government hopes to use the bus, called Golden Dream Bus, to highlight the city as a former town of gold bullion.
   The exterior of the bus is painted gold, with its side decorated with illustrations, including of "manekineko" beckoning cats. Gold-colored seats are installed inside the bus to add a touch of class, while the history of the gold bullion is explained on the upper part of the windows.
   The bus is slated to go into service in October, but the city government will not disclose its time schedule or route.
