海外観光客、６月１０日から解禁　新千歳・那覇の国際線再開へ―２年２カ月ぶり、経済効果期待・政府

　政府は２６日、新型コロナウイルス対策で停止していた海外からの観光客受け入れについて、団体ツアーに限り６月１０日から解禁すると発表した。現在５空港にとどまっている国際線の運航については、新千歳空港と那覇空港でも６月中に再開させる。
　海外観光客はコロナ感染拡大を受けて２０２０年４月から停止しており、２年２カ月ぶりの再開。内外の感染状況が相対的に落ち着いていることや、インバウンド需要など経済効果への期待が強いことを踏まえた。
　国土交通省などによると、受け入れを始めるのは添乗員付きのパッケージツアー。受け入れ地域は、ウイルス流入リスクに応じて「青」「黄」「赤」に３分類した各国・地域のうち最もリスクの低い「青」グループで、入国者ベースで８割程度の国・地域が含まれる見通しだ。
　岸田文雄首相は東京都内の講演で「今後も感染状況を見ながら、段階的に、平時同様の受け入れを目指していく」と説明した。
　政府は６月１日から１日当たりの入国者上限を約１万人から約２万人に引き上げる方針を決めており、観光客もこの枠内で受け入れる。入国者のマスク着用などについては、新たに策定するガイドラインの順守を求める。団体客に限定するのは、行動や感染状況を管理しやすくするためで、今月下旬から少人数の団体パッケージツアーを受け入れる実証事業を始めていた。（2022/05/26-21:24）

The Japanese government is considering resuming accepting some tourists from overseas in June as part of plans to relax its COVID-19-linked border controls in stages, sources familiar with the matter said Thursday.
   The government plans to initially allow group tour visitors to enter the country to make it easier to manage activities and infection status after arrival, the sources said.
   Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is likely to announce the move as early as Thursday.
   The government has been suspending the entry into Japan of tourists from overseas since April 2020.
   In light of improvements in the infection situations at home and abroad, and strong expectations for economic effects from foreign tourists, it will relax the ban, the sources said.
