三菱電、米での大型変圧器生産終了　韓国企業に工場売却、日本から供給

　三菱電機は１６日、電力用大型変圧器の米国での生産を２０２０年２月で終了すると発表した。中型変圧器の需要増や再生可能エネルギーの導入加速など、需要環境が変化したことが主因。米テネシー州にある工場を約５０億円で韓国企業に売却し、今後米国への製品供給は日本から対応する。（2019/12/16-12:11）

Mitsubishi Electric Corp. said Monday that it will stop producing large power transformers in the United States in February 2020.
The move reflects a shift in demand to midsize power transformers and the increased use of renewable energy, the Japanese company said.
