元農水次官に懲役８年求刑　長男殺害「強い殺意」―東京地裁

　東京都練馬区の自宅で長男＝当時（４４）＝を殺害したとして、殺人罪に問われた元農林水産事務次官の熊沢英昭被告（７６）の裁判員裁判の論告求刑公判が１３日、東京地裁（中山大行裁判長）であった。検察側は「強い殺意で一方的に攻撃した」として懲役８年を求刑。弁護側は執行猶予付き判決を求め、結審した。判決は１６日。
　検察側は論告で、長男英一郎さんは５月２５日から被告と同居し、翌２６日には被告に暴力を振るったとした。被告は妻宛てに「他に方法がないと思っている。どこかで死に場所を探します。英一郎も散骨してください」などと無理心中をほのめかす手紙を書き、「発達障害だった長男に親身に対応してきたのに失望感を持ち、殺害を考え始めた」と述べた。
　その上で、英一郎さんの傷は３６カ所を超える一方、被告はほぼ無傷だったと指摘。「強い殺意で、隙を狙い一方的に攻撃した。長男は被告を尊敬していたのに、突如命を奪われた」と非難した。
　弁護側は、英一郎さんが「殺すぞ」と口にしたことから「５月２６日の暴行を思い出し、自らの命を守るためとっさに事件に及んだ」と反論。「献身的にサポートしており、直前まで殺害は考えていなかった」と訴えた。
　熊沢被告は最終意見陳述で、「反省と悔悟で過ごしている。息子があの世で穏やかに過ごせるよう、罪を償い、祈りをささげていく」と述べた。
　起訴状によると、熊沢被告は６月１日午後、練馬区の自宅で、英一郎さんの首などを多数回包丁で刺して殺害したとされる。（2019/12/13-13:08）

Public prosecutors sought a prison term of eight years on Friday for a former Japanese vice agriculture minister for killing his 44-year-old son at his home in Tokyo in June, pointing to his "one-sided" attack with a "strong murderous intent."
   The trial for Hideaki Kumazawa, 76, concluded after the defense side demanded a suspended prison term. A ruling is due on Monday.
   In the hearing, the prosecutor side said the son, Eiichiro, had used violence against his father on May 26, just one day after they started living together.
   "Despite his kind support for the son, who had developmental disorder, the father became disappointed with him and started to consider killing him," the prosecutors said.
   They noted that Eiichiro's body had over 36 wounds, but that the suspect was almost completely unhurt.
