農林水産被害、２５００億円超＝作物浸水、施設損壊―台風１５、１９号

　９月から１０月にかけ関東や東北地方などを襲った台風１５、１９号による農林水産物や関連施設の被害が、５日午前８時時点で２５３３億７０００万円に上ったことが農林水産省のまとめで分かった。農作物が浸水し、用水路も損壊するなど、被害は広範囲にわたる。全容は把握できておらず、被害額は今後さらに増える見通し。政府は週内に追加の支援策を取りまとめる。
　１０月中旬に上陸した台風１９号と、その後関東を襲った大雨による被害は２０２４億５０００万円に達した。うち農作物の被害は計１１８億８０００万円。長野市では千曲川流域のリンゴ、栃木県佐野市では秋山川近くのイチゴが浸水し、出荷できなくなった。コメも広域で冠水などの被害が出ている。
　用水路など農業用施設の損壊や農地の荒廃は１１６２億１０００万円。林野関係では５９５億２０００万円、水産関係では１０１億４０００万円の被害が出ている。（2019/11/05-17:34）

The cost of damage caused to Japan's agriculture, forestry and fishing industries by powerful typhoons Faxai and Hagibis had reached 253.37 billion yen as of Tuesday morning, the agriculture ministry said.
   Faxai, the 15th typhoon of the year in September, and Hagibis, the 19th in October, caused extensive damage across the country, flooding crops and damaging irrigation channels.
   More damage are likely to be reported, especially from severely affected areas. The government will announce additional measures to support those hit by the disasters later this week.
   Total damage from Hagibis and ensuing downpours mainly in the Kanto eastern Japan region stood at 202.45 billion yen, of which 11.88 billion yen was to crops.
   In the city of Nagano, central Japan, where a levee in the Chikuma River was breached, apple orchards were flooded as were strawberry farms in the city of Sano, Tochigi Prefecture, eastern Japan. Rice fields were also inundated in many areas across the country.
