死者最多１１９人、感染２３２４人　東京５日連続１０００人以下―新型コロナ

　国内では２日、新たに２３２４人の新型コロナウイルス感染が確認された。１日当たりの新規感染者は３日連続で３０００人を下回ったが、死者は１１９人で過去最多を更新した。厚生労働省によると、重症者は前日比３８人減の９３７人。
　東京都では新たに５５６人の陽性が確認された。新規感染者が１０００人を下回ったのは５日連続だが、死者は２３人で最多だった。都によると、新規感染者は２０代が１１４人と最多で、３０代９３人、４０代８９人などと続いた。重症化リスクが高いとされる６５歳以上は１３３人。都の基準による重症者は１２９人で、前日から４人減った。
　高知県では昨年１１月２８日以来、約２カ月ぶりに新規感染者が確認されなかった。（2021/02/02-20:22）

Tokyo Reports 556 New Coronavirus Cases

The daily number of new coronavirus cases in Tokyo came to 556 on Tuesday, standing below 1,000 for the fifth successive day, according to the Tokyo metropolitan government.
   Of the new cases, 114 were detected among people in their 20s, 93 among those in their 30s and 89 among those in their 40s. People aged 65 or older accounted for 133 cases.
   Under the metropolitan government's standards, the number of severely ill patients with the coronavirus decreased by four from the previous day to 129.
   In the western Japan prefecture of Kochi on the same day, no new coronavirus case was confirmed for the first time since Nov. 28.
