【東京ＡＦＰ＝時事】開催中のラグビーW杯日本大会で、南アフリカとの決勝に勝ち上がったイングランド代表。その中で、ロシアに近いことを不安がる言葉から、チームのフランカー陣を称した「カミカゼ・キッズ」まで、エディー・ジョーンズヘッドコーチ（HC）の口からは今大会も多くの奇抜な発言が飛び出した。（写真はエディー・ジョーンズHC）

　ロシアに愛を込めて
　「スタジアムは最高の雰囲気だった。北にある北海道で試合が開催されるのは、ラグビー界にとって素晴らしいこと。みなさんが思うよりロシアに近いだろうが、４万５０００人の観客が集まった」――札幌ドームで行われたプールステージ開幕戦のトンガ戦の勝利後、外交関係に口を出すかのように一言。
　どなたか、鼻のバーベキューはいかが？

From describing his flankers as kamikaze kids to feeling uneasy near Russia, outspoken England coach Eddie Jones hasn't held back at the Rugby World Cup.
