Ｇ７で共同声明目指す　安倍首相、香港情勢めぐり

　安倍晋三首相は１０日の衆院予算委員会で、中国による香港への国家安全法導入方針を受け、先進７カ国（Ｇ７）で共同声明を出すことを目指す考えを強調した。「一国二制度を前提に、Ｇ７で声明を発出するという考え方の下に、（議論を）リードしていきたい」と語った。Ｇ７について「普遍的価値を共有する国々が集まり、世界をリードすることは大きな意義がある」とも指摘した。国民民主党の玉木雄一郎代表への答弁。（2020/06/10-11:58）

Abe Aims for G-7 Statement on Hong Kong

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said on Wednesday that he aims for the Group of Seven major industrialized countries to issue a joint statement responding to China's decision to impose a security law on Hong Kong.
"I'm willing to lead discussions in order for the G-7 to issue a statement on the assumption of the 'one country, two systems' principle" for Hong Kong's autonomy, Abe told a House of Representatives budget committee meeting.
Abe pointed out that the G-7 comprises countries respecting universal values and that its leadership in the world is of great significance.
