国内感染者１万人超える　９日で倍増、歯止めかからず―新型コロナ

　国内で確認された新型コロナウイルス感染者は１８日、クルーズ船「ダイヤモンド・プリンセス」の乗船者を除き累計で１万人を超えた。感染者が５０００人を超えたのは国内初確認から約３カ月後の今月９日だったが、その後の９日間で倍増した。７日に緊急事態宣言が発令されてから１０日以上たったが、増加ペースに歯止めがかからない状況が続く。
　１８日は全国で５５０人以上の感染が確認された。東京都内では新たに１８１人が陽性となり、約７割の１２４人は感染経路が不明。累計感染者は２９７５人となった。

　都内で５人、北海道と千葉県で各２人が死亡したほか、大阪、富山、福岡など各府県で計８人の死亡が判明。クルーズ乗船者を含めた死者は２３７人となった。
　累計感染者は東京都が最多で、次いで大阪府１１６３人、神奈川県７５５人、千葉県６６９人の順。「特定警戒」の１３都道府県に集中しており、都市部では特に、感染経路がたどれない人の割合が増加傾向にある。

　２月末に独自の緊急事態宣言を出した北海道では、１日当たりの感染者数はいったん減少したものの、１８日に過去最多の３８人が確認されるなど再び急増。うち１３人は国立病院機構北海道がんセンターの入院患者らで、同センターの院内感染者は計３０人となった。
　大阪市の「なみはやリハビリテーション病院」では、医療従事者と患者計４１人の感染が判明した。院内感染によるクラスター（感染者集団）の恐れがあるという。（2020/04/18-23:41）

The cumulative number of novel coronavirus infection cases confirmed in Japan exceeded 10,000 on Saturday, excluding those who were aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship quarantined off the country earlier this year.
   The pace of growth in the number of infections is still not slowing more than 10 days after Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe declared a state of emergency to contain the coronavirus outbreak.
   The cumulative number of coronavirus cases topped 5,000 on April 9, about three months after the first domestic infection was confirmed. The number then doubled only in nine days.
   On Saturday, more than 250 people were found to be infected with the coronavirus across Japan.
   In Tokyo, 181 people tested positive for the virus, metropolitan government sources said. The cumulative number of infections in the Japanese capital has risen to 2,975.
