国内感染者７０００人超　東京１６６人―新型コロナ

閑散とする渋谷センター街。東京都内では１６６人が新たに陽性となり、累計感染者は２０００人を超えた＝１２日午後、渋谷区

　新型コロナウイルスの感染者は１２日、全国で新たに４９０人以上増え、国内感染者の累計は７０００人を超えた。東京都で２人、北海道と千葉県、神奈川県、愛知県で各１人の死亡が確認され、クルーズ船乗船者を含む死者は１５０人となった。
　東京都によると、都内では１６６人が新たに陽性となり、累計感染者は２０６８人となった。うち８７人は中野江古田病院（中野区）の患者や医師、看護師らだった。同病院では４日に入院患者５人の感染が確認されており、外来や新たな入院患者の受け入れを既に中止している。都は院内感染の可能性が高いとみている。
　新宿区によると、同区の学童保育「放課後子どもひろばプラス」で支援員を務める男性の感染が１１日に判明。濃厚接触した児童２２人らの検査を進める。
　富山市では、感染症指定医療機関の富山市民病院で入院患者７人、看護師３人などが新たに陽性となり、同病院関係者の感染は計１６人となった。
　福井市でも指定医療機関の福井県立病院に勤務する看護師１人が感染。神戸市では１１日の陽性確認者のうち１人が、神戸赤十字病院の感染患者が入院する病棟に勤務する看護師と判明した。（2020/04/12-21:46）

Coronavirus Cases in Japan Top 7,000

Confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Japan topped 7,000 on Sunday, an increase of more than 320 from the previous day.
   The country's death toll from the virus rose to 147, including one new fatality each in Hokkaido and Chiba and Kanagawa prefectures.
   Over 166 new infections were confirmed in Tokyo, pushing total cases in the capital to more than 2,000.
   A male staff member at an after-school child care center in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward tested positive for the virus on Saturday. He had close contact with 22 children.
   At Toyama City Hospital in the city of Toyama, central Japan, seven inpatients and three nurses tested positive, bringing cases at the hospital to 13.
