鹿児島県に暴風・波浪特別警報　台風１０号接近で―気象庁「安全確保を」

　非常に強い台風１０号は２８日、鹿児島県・屋久島の南海上を北上した。２９日にかけて九州南部に接近し、上陸する恐れがある。気象庁は午後１時、鹿児島県（奄美地方を除く）に暴風と波浪の特別警報を発表し、最大級の警戒を呼び掛けた。九州南部（鹿児島・宮崎両県）では大雨の特別警報を発表する可能性もある。
　同庁の杉本悟史予報課長は２８日朝の記者会見で、「記録的な大雨になり、一部の住宅が倒壊するような猛烈な風が吹く見込みだ。暴風になる前に避難することが重要で、早めに身の安全を確保してほしい」と話した。
　発達した雨雲が連なる線状降水帯の予測情報が発表され、奄美地方では２９日午前まで、鹿児島・宮崎両県では２９日夜まで発生する可能性がある。九州北部と山口県は２８日夜から２９日夜まで、香川以外の四国３県は２９日午前から夜まで発生する可能性がある。１０号は３０日午後から３１日にかけては西日本の陸上か四国・紀伊半島沖を東北東へ進むと予想される。
　１０号は２８日正午、屋久島の南南西約９０キロの海上をゆっくりと北へ進んだ。中心気圧は９３５ヘクトパスカル、最大風速５０メートル、最大瞬間風速７０メートル。半径１１０キロ以内が風速２５メートル以上の暴風域、東側３９０キロ以内と西側２８０キロ以内が風速１５メートル以上の強風域。
　鹿児島県屋久島町では２８日午前１１時半ごろに最大瞬間風速４１．９メートルを観測。宮崎県えびの市では午前１０時４０分までの１２時間雨量が１６６ミリとなった。
　２９日に予想される最大瞬間風速は九州南部と奄美７０メートル、九州北部５５メートル、四国３５メートル、中国２５メートル。
　２９日正午までの２４時間予想雨量は多い所で、九州南部６００ミリ、九州北部と四国３００ミリ、東海と奄美２５０ミリ、近畿１５０ミリ。その後、３０日正午までの同雨量は、九州南部６００ミリ、九州北部５００ミリ、四国４００ミリ、東海３００ミリ、近畿２００ミリ、中国１５０ミリ。（2024/08/28-13:25）

The Japan Meteorological Agency said Wednesday that it may issue special warnings to the southern part of the Kyushu southwestern region as powerful Typhoon Shanshan is approaching the area.
   Special warnings against violent winds, high waves and high tides may be issued to Kagoshima Prefecture, and special warnings against heavy rain to Kagoshima and neighboring Miyazaki Prefecture, the agency said. The 10th typhoon of the year may make landfall on southern Kyushu toward Thursday, it said.
   "Record-breaking rainfall and very strong winds that could destroy some houses are expected," Satoshi Sugimoto, chief of the agency's Forecast Division, told a press conference, urging people to evacuate before winds become violent and take measures to protect their lives early.
   There are risks of linear precipitation zones, or strings of developed rain clouds that often bring torrential rain, being formed in the Amami Islands region in Kagoshima through Thursday morning and in Kagoshima and Miyazaki prefectures through Thursday night, possibly causing landslides, inundation of low-lying areas and river flooding, according to the agency.
   At 8 a.m. Wednesday, Typhoon Shanshan was slowly moving northwest over waters some 90 kilometers north-northeast of the Kagoshima city of Amami, part of Amami Oshima, one of the Amami Islands.
