東海道新幹線、運転見合わせ　浜松－名古屋で終日―保守車両脱線、２人けが

　２２日午前３時３５分ごろ、愛知県蒲郡市の東海道新幹線上り線で、停止していた保守車両に別の保守車両がぶつかり、２台とも脱線した。事故を受け、ＪＲ東海は浜松―名古屋間の上下線で終日運転を見合わせた。計３２８本が運休になり、約２５万人に影響した。２３日の始発から運転を再開する予定。
　ＪＲ東海によると、事故が起きたのは豊橋―三河安城間で、レール下に敷かれるバラスト（砕石）を散布する車両が、停止していた別の保守車両にぶつかった。散布車を運転していた男性ら２人が首の骨を折るなどのけがをしたが、命に別条はない。
　散布車は豊橋に回送中、待機していた車両にぶつかった。下り坂を時速４０キロで走行し、ブレーキ操作をしたが、何らかの原因で利かなかったといい、同社が詳しい原因を調べている。
　事故現場では同日午後、多くの作業員が集まり、脱線した保守車両の下にもぐったり、架線を支える柱にはしごで登ったりしていた。散布車の先頭が大きく変形し、別の車両は窓ガラスが外れていた。
　事故の影響で「のぞみ」は全て運休。「こだま」「ひかり」は各駅に停車し、運行本数を１時間に２本程度に減らした。ＪＲ東海幹部は２２日夜に記者会見し、「始発より多くの列車の遅延を発生させ、皆さまにご迷惑をおかけしたことを深くおわび申し上げます」と謝罪した。
　山陽新幹線は東海道新幹線との直通運転を、２本を除き中止。北陸新幹線は上下線計２本で臨時列車の運行を、全日空と日本航空は羽田―伊丹間で臨時便の運航をそれぞれ決めた。（2024/07/22-22:26）

Tokaido Shinkansen bullet train services were briefly suspended between Tokyo and Nagoya stations Monday following a derailment incident involving a maintenance train.
   Central Japan Railway Co., or JR Tokai, which operates the Tokaido Shinkansen line, has since changed the suspended section to between Shin-Osaka and Hamamatsu stations for eastbound trains and between Hamamatsu and Nagoya stations for westbound trains.
   A full resumption of services is not expected until at least noon.
   JR Tokai said that a maintenance train was derailed after colliding with another maintenance train on a section of the line between Toyohashi and Mikawa-Anjo stations in Aichi Prefecture shortly past 3:30 a.m., forcing the company to halt some services from the first train of the day.
