６月消費者物価、２．６％上昇　電気・ガス代が値上がり―総務省

　総務省が１９日発表した６月の全国消費者物価指数（２０２０年＝１００）は、価格変動の大きい生鮮食品を除く総合指数が１０７．８と、前年同月比２．６％上昇した。上昇は３４カ月連続で、２カ月続けてプラス幅が拡大した。政府の負担軽減策が半減されたことなどが影響し、電気代や都市ガス代が値上がりした。
　エネルギー価格全体の上昇率は前年同月比７．７％と、前月の７．２％から拡大した。電気代が１３．４％上昇したほか、都市ガス代は３．７％上昇と１年１カ月ぶりにプラスとなった。政府の負担軽減策は５月使用分（６月請求分）まででいったん終了するが、８月使用分から再開されるため、今後も物価指数の動向に影響を与えそうだ。
　生鮮食品を除く食料は２．８％上昇。伸び率は１０カ月連続で縮小したが、原材料価格上昇の影響で菓子類や外食など幅広い分野で値上がりが続いている。果実ジュースはオレンジの主要生産国ブラジルの不作の影響で３２．１％上がった。
　このほか、猛暑を見越した需要が増えたルームエアコンが９．３％上昇した。（2024/07/19-10:35）

Japan's core consumer prices rose 2.6 pct in June from a year before, marking a faster increase than May's 2.5 pct gain as electricity and city gas bills increased after the government reduced subsidies, the internal affairs ministry said Friday.
   The core consumer price index, which excludes volatile fresh food prices, stood at 107.8 in June against the 2020 base of 100, rising for the 34th consecutive month.
   Energy prices climbed 7.7 pct in June after May's 7.2 pct rise. Electricity bills surged 13.4 pct, while gas bills went up 3.7 pct, their first rise in 13 months.
   The government has stopped providing subsidies aimed at lowering electricity and city gas bills. But it plans to resume the aid in August. The move is expected to affect overall price trends.
   Prices of food, excluding fresh food, rose 2.8 pct. Prices for many food items like confectionery and restaurant menus continued to rise due to soaring ingredient costs, though the pace of rise in overall food prices slowed for the 10th consecutive month. The price of fruit juice jumped 32.1 pct due to poor orange crop in Brazil.
