２３年度の企業物価、過去最高　２年連続、２．３％上昇―日銀

　日銀が１０日発表した２０２３年度の国内企業物価指数（速報値、２０年平均＝１００）は１１９．９となり、２年連続で過去最高を更新した。エネルギーや原材料費の高騰を背景に価格転嫁の動きが強まり、前年度比２．３％上昇と３年連続で前年度を上回った。
　企業物価指数は企業間で取引されるモノの価格を示す。飲食料品は５．８％、輸送用機器は２．７％、それぞれ上昇。金属製品も７．１％上がるなど、原材料やエネルギー価格などのコスト上昇分を価格転嫁する動きが続いた。
　一方、電気・ガス代の高騰を受けた政府の負担軽減策により、電力・都市ガス・水道は１２．６％下落。原油価格の下落を反映し、化学製品も１．６％のマイナスとなった。
　企業が海外から輸入するモノの価格を示す輸入物価指数は、円ベースで７．２％下落した。円安の影響を受けたものの、原油など資源価格の下落が大きく、契約通貨ベースでは１１．４％下落。いずれも、３年ぶりにマイナスに転じた。
　日銀は「輸入物価がマイナスとなる中、製造業に近い産業で下落、または大きく減速する一方、小売業に近い産業はコスト上昇分の転嫁が続いた」と分析している。（2024/04/10-11:56）

Japan's producer price index hit a record high for the second consecutive year in fiscal 2023, reflecting price hikes to cover higher energy and raw materials costs, a preliminary Bank of Japan report showed Wednesday.
   For the year through March, the producer price index, which measures costs of goods traded between businesses, rose 2.3 pct from the previous year to 119.9, against 100 for the base year of 2020. The index was up for the third year in a row.
   By category, the price index rose 5.8 pct for food and beverages, 2.7 pct for transportation equipment, and 7.1 pct for metal products.
   On the other hand, electricity, gas and water prices plunged 12.6 pct thanks to government subsidies to curb power and gas bills. Prices of chemical products fell 1.6 pct, reflecting a decline in the crude oil market.
   In the same year, the import price index, which measures companies' costs of importing goods from overseas, dropped 7.2 pct in yen terms and 11.4 pct in contract currency terms, both the first decline in three years, with falls in oil and other commodity prices offsetting upward pressure from the yen's depreciation.
