ＮＦＬ、ギャンブル規定違反で４選手に出場停止処分

　インディアナポリス・コルツのＣＢアイザイア・ロジャースとＯＬＢラショド・ベリー、そしてフリーエージェントのＤＥデメトリアス・テイラーは、２０２２年にリーグの試合で賭けをしたとして、少なくとも２３年シーズン終了まで出場停止処分となった。
　ロジャース、ベリー、テイラーの３人は、２３年シーズン終了後に再登録の申請が可能となっている。コルツはロジャースとベリーについて、両選手の無期限出場停止処分が発表された後、ウェイバーにかけた。
　ＮＦＬのギャンブル規定では、リーグ関係者が球団やリーグの施設もしくは練習場を含む会場内で賭博行為をすることを禁止している。
　ＮＦＬでは今年４月、デトロイト・ライオンズのジェームソン・ウィリアムズやクインテス・シーファス、スタンレー・ベリーヒルのＷＲ３選手とＤＢのＣＪ・ムーア、さらにワシントン・コマンダーズのＤＥシャカ・トニーがギャンブル規定違反で出場停止処分を受けている。【翻訳編集ＡＦＰＢＢＮｅｗｓ】

The NFL suspended four players on Thursday for violating the league's gambling policy, with three banned for at least one season for betting on NFL games.
Isaiah Rodgers and Rashod Berry of the Indianapolis Colts and free agent Demetrius Taylor were all suspended indefinitely, and at least through the conclusion of the 2023 season, for betting on league games in 2022.
Nicholas Petit-Frere of the Tennessee Titans was suspended for the team's first six regular-season games of 2023 season for betting on non-NFL sports at the club facility.
Rodgers, Berry and Taylor can petition for reinstatement at the end of the upcoming season.
The Colts waived Rodgers and Berry following the announcement of their indefinite suspensions.
We have made the following roster moves as a consequence of the determination that these players violated the league's gambling policy, said Colts general manager Chris Ballard said in a statement following the release of Rodgers and Berry.
The integrity of the game is of the utmost importance. As an organization we will continue to educate our players, coaches, and staff on the policies in place and the significant consequences that may occur with violations.
Rodgers had issued a statement on June 5 saying he takes full responsibility for his actions.
The NFL's gambling policy prohibits anyone in the league from engaging in any form of gambling in any club or league facility or venue, including the practice facility.
We have been made aware of Nick's suspension by the league, the Titans said in a statement. We believe in Nick and know that he has deep respect for the integrity of the game and our organization.
We will continue to emphasize to our players the importance of understanding and adhering to league rules and policies.
Thursday's suspensions are just the latest related to gambling.
In April, the league suspended Lions receivers Jameson Williams, Quintez Cephus, Stanley Berryhill and safety C.J. Moore, and Washington Commanders defensive end Shaka Toney for violating the gambling policy.
