ロシア、三菱商事の出資も承認　サハリン２、三井物産に続き

　ロシア政府は、極東の石油・天然ガス開発事業「サハリン２」をめぐり、新運営会社の株式の１０％を三菱商事に譲渡することを承認した。同社の新運営会社への参画が認められたことになる。
　政府サイトで３１日、政令が発表された。ロシア政府は三井物産の新運営会社への出資も承認済み。権益の維持に向けて前進した形だが、詳細な契約内容は今後の交渉次第との見方もある。このため、液化天然ガス（ＬＮＧ）の安定調達を続けられるかは、なお予断を許さない。（2022/08/31-23:37）

The Russian government has endorsed Japanese trading house Mitsubishi Corp.'s plan to acquire a 10 pct equity stake in a new Russian operator of the Sakhalin-2 oil and natural gas development project in the Russian Far East.
   A related government decree was posted on a Russian government website on Wednesday.
   The announcement came a day after Moscow said it gave another Japanese trader Mitsui & Co. the green light to take a 12.5 pct stake in the new operator of the Sakhalin-2 project, which is crucial for Japan's liquefied natural gas procurement.
   The Russian government's decisions to approve the two Japanese traders' investment plans mean that progress was made toward Japan maintaining its interests in the project.
   Some experts say, however, that the details of the deals will be decided based on negotiations between the Japanese firms and the Russian side and that it remains to be seen whether Japan would be able to continue procuring LNG stably.
