国立競技場でイベント　一般ランナー２０２０人参加

　２０２０年東京五輪・パラリンピックの主会場となる国立競技場で２１日、オープンを記念して一般ランナーが参加するイベントが行われた。スポーツ用品メーカー、アシックスの商品購入者から抽選で選ばれた２０２０人が真新しいトラックを走ったり、記念撮影をしたりしてスタジアムの雰囲気を味わった。
　陸上男子短距離の桐生祥秀選手（日本生命）や、女子マラソンで五輪２大会連続メダリストの有森裕子さん、パラリンピック競泳男子の金メダリスト河合純一さん、女優の土屋太鳳さんらがゲストとして参加。桐生選手は「２０年の『プレダッシュ』として気合を入れていきたい」と話した。
　夜には日本スポーツ振興センター主催のオープニングイベントが開催される。（2019/12/21-12:15）

Selected members of the general public tested out the running tracks on Saturday at the new National Stadium in Tokyo, which will be used as the main arena of the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics and Paralympics.
   From a pool of people who have purchased products of sports goods maker Asics Corp. , 2020 were picked by lottery to attend the event marking the stadium's opening. Participants took in the atmosphere of the new stadium by running on the new tracks and taking commemorative photographs.
   Japanese sprinter Yoshihide Kiryu, back-to-back Olympic medalist marathon runner Yuko Arimori, Paralympic gold medalist swimmer Junichi Kawai and actress Tao Tsuchiya were among special guests invited to the event.
   "We hope to get fired up as a 'pre-dash' for 2020," Kiryu said at the event.
   An opening ceremony for the stadium will be held by the Japan Sport Council at night the same day.
