岸田首相、ロシア軍の核研究施設攻撃「強く懸念」 中ロ接近に警戒感―参院予算委

 参院予算委員会は7日午前、首相と関係閣僚が出席し、2回目の集中審議を行った。首相は、ロシア軍がウクライナ北東部ハリコフの核物質を扱う研究施設を攻撃したとの報道について「強く懸念する。こうしたロシアの侵略は、国際秩序の根幹を揺るがす行為で、明白な国際法違反だ」と非難した。自民党の氏への答弁。
 ロシアと中国の接近をめぐっては「近年、緊密な関係を維持しており、日本周辺での軍事協力も緊密化している」と警戒感を示した。その上で「両国の対外政策を含む動向は引き続き関心を持って注視し、米国をはじめ関係国と連携しながら適切に対応したい」と述べた。自民党の氏への答弁。(2022/03/07-11:24)

Kishida Vows to Continue Aid to Ukraine


Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said Monday that his country is committed to continue providing support to Ukraine being invaded by Russia.
   "The international community is united and taking unprecedented measures to support Ukraine," Kishida said at a meeting of the Budget Committee of the House of Councillors, the upper chamber of the Diet, Japan's parliament.
   "We will continue to provide assistance to Ukraine," the prime minister said of his government's plan to offer defense items, such as bulletproof vests and helmets, and 100 million dollars in emergency humanitarian aid to the country.
   Kishida said, "We will deliver necessary supplies as soon as possible."
   Regarding the relationship between Russia and China, Kishida said that in recent years, the two countries have maintained close relations and that their military cooperation around Japan has also become closer.
