内閣支持３２．２％、発足後最低　コロナ対応評価せず６４％―時事世論調査

　時事通信が７～１０日に実施した５月の世論調査で、菅内閣の支持率は前月比４．４ポイント減の３２．２％、不支持率は６．９ポイント増の４４．６％となった。支持率は政権発足後最低で、不支持率は最も高かった。不支持率が支持率を上回るのは５カ月連続。
　政府は７日に発令中の緊急事態宣言を延長し、対象に愛知、福岡両県を追加することなどを決定。新型コロナウイルスの感染収束のめどが立たず、支持率低下に影響したとみられる。菅内閣のこれまでの最低支持率は、首都圏１都３県への緊急事態宣言直後に行われた１月調査の３４．２％。
　新型コロナウイルス感染拡大をめぐる政府対応について、「評価しない」は前月比１１．６ポイント増の６４．６％。「評価する」は同８．９ポイント減の１７．６％で、「どちらとも言えない・分からない」は１７．８％だった。
　新型コロナウイルスワクチンの接種が米国などの先進国と比べて遅れていることについて聞いたところ、「大いに不満だ」（３９．５％）と「多少不満だ」（３４．９％）が合わせて７割を超えた。「あまり不満ではない」は１８．４％、「全く不満ではない」は５．２％、「分からない」は２．０％だった。
　内閣を支持する理由（複数回答）は、「他に適当な人がいない」が最多の１４．２％で、「首相を信頼する」６．８％、「誰でも同じ」６．６％と続いた。支持しない理由（同）は、「期待が持てない」（２５．１％）、「リーダーシップが無い」（２４．１％）、「政策が駄目」（１７．１％）だった。
　政党支持率は自民党が２１．４％、立憲民主党が４．４％。公明党２．６％、日本維新の会１．９％、共産党１．５％、国民民主党０．５％と続き、社民党、ＮＨＫ受信料を支払わない方法を教える党（ＮＨＫ党）、れいわ新選組は０．２％だった。「支持政党なし」は６４．８％。
　調査は全国の１８歳以上の男女２０００人を対象に個別面接方式で実施。有効回収率は６５．３％。（2021/05/14-19:24）

The approval rate for Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga's cabinet stood at 32.2 pct in May, the lowest level since its launch in September last year, a Jiji Press monthly opinion survey showed Friday.
   The reading was down 4.4 percentage points from April, according to the survey, conducted for four days through Monday.
   The disapproval rate climbed 6.9 points to 44.6, the highest for Suga's cabinet. Disapproval topped approval for the fifth successive month.
   On Friday last week, the government decided to extend its third state of emergency over the new coronavirus, covering Tokyo and the western prefectures of Osaka, Kyoto and Hyogo, until the end of May and to include Aichi Prefecture, central Japan, and Fukuoka Prefecture, southwestern Japan, in the list.
   The decline in the support rate apparently reflected the tough coronavirus infection situation in the country, with the crisis unlikely to be brought under control anytime soon. The previous lowest support rate for his cabinet was 34.2 pct, marked in the January survey, which was conducted soon after the government decided to issue its second coronavirus state of emergency.
