１月コンビニ売上高、４．９％減　緊急事態宣言で低迷続く

　日本フランチャイズチェーン協会が２２日発表した１月の全国コンビニエンスストア売上高は、既存店ベースで前年同月比４．９％減の８１５０億円だった。１１カ月連続のマイナス。新型コロナウイルスの感染再拡大に伴う緊急事態宣言の再発令を受け、都市部を中心に客足が再び遠のき、低迷が続いた。
　来店客数は１３．２％減。宣言が出された１１都府県などで人出が減ったほか、正月休みに帰省や旅行を控える動きが広がったことも影響した。（2021/02/22-16:48）

Sales at convenience stores in Japan in January fell 4.9 pct from a year before to 815,021 million yen on a same-store basis, down for the 11th consecutive month, the Japan Franchise Association said Monday.
Sales remained sluggish as customer traffic dropped again, mainly in urban areas, following the declaration in January of a fresh state of emergency over the new coronavirus epidemic, initially for Tokyo and three neighboring prefectures and later expanded to seven other prefectures.
