ニコン、山形・福島の工場閉鎖　カメラ市場縮小で合理化

　ニコンは２日、デジタルカメラ用交換レンズを手掛ける山形県と福島県にある工場の操業を３月末で停止し、８月末に閉鎖する方針を明らかにした。スマートフォンの普及でデジカメ市場が縮小しているため。国内での部品加工と組み立て調整を栃木県の工場に集約し、合理化を図る。
　閉鎖するのは、子会社ティーエヌアイ工業（栃木県大田原市）の長井工場（山形県長井市）と会津工場（福島県只見町）。長井工場の従業員１０８人と会津工場の５４人は、同社の大田原工場（大田原市）に異動してもらう予定で、退職希望者には再就職を支援する。（2021/02/02-22:28）

Nikon Corp. plans to close down two plants producing interchangeable lenses for digital cameras in northeastern Japan at the end of August, company officials said Tuesday.
The move reflects the shrinkage of the digital camera market caused by the spread of smartphones. As part of efforts to streamline its operations, Nikon plans to consolidate camera parts processing and assembly procedures in the country to a plant in Tochigi Prefecture, eastern Japan.
