三菱ＵＦＪ、口座未利用者に手数料　年１３２０円、犯罪抑止で

　三菱ＵＦＪ銀行は２２日、７月１日以降に新規に口座を開き、２年以上出入金がない顧客から手数料を徴収すると発表した。長く使われない「休眠口座」を悪用した犯罪などを防ぐ狙い。手数料は年１３２０円で、定期預金など他の預かり金融資産がある場合は対象外とする。
　インターネットを通じた口座利用を促すため、利用状況に応じてポイントを付与する特典を６月に新設する。ネットバンキングを利用し公共料金の口座振替を行うなどの条件を満たせば、ローソンなどで使える共通ポイント「Ｐｏｎｔａ（ポンタ）」をためることができる。
　現金自動預払機（ＡＴＭ）の利用手数料を優遇するサービスも簡素化する。預金残高などによって優遇する仕組みを改め、給与や年金の受取口座への指定や、ネット上で出入金を確認できる「Ｅｃｏ通帳」の利用に応じ、コンビニエンスストアでのＡＴＭ利用などの手数料を一定回数無料とする。（2021/01/22-17:14）

MUFG Bank to Charge Fee for Dormant Accounts

MUFG Bank said Friday that it will charge a commission fee from customers if no deposit or withdrawal records are shown for over two years on accounts opened with it on July 1 or later.
The introduction of the fee of 1,320 yen per year by the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc. unit is aimed at preventing dormant bank accounts from being abused. Customers with time deposits and other assets in the bank will be exempt from the fee.
