東日本大震災で行方不明、遺体発見＝両親「娘やっと帰ってきた」－宮城

　宮城県警は２４日までに、８月に同県山元町沿岸で漁船が発見した遺体について、東日本大震災で行方不明となっていた同町の大久保真希さん＝当時（２７）＝と判明したと発表した。同日、県警亘理署で両親に遺骨を引き渡した。
　同署によると、見つかった遺体は下あごの骨と歯の一部で、８月に山元町沿岸で刺し網に入っているのを漁船が発見した。歯型やＤＮＡ型の鑑定の結果、今月１１日に身元を特定した。

　骨箱を受け取り、父三夫さん（６６）は「生身の娘が帰ってきたようにうれしい」と穏やかな表情を見せた。母恵子さん（６１）は「こんなに軽くなってしまったけど、やっと帰ってきてくれてうれしい」と涙を流し、「まだ見つかっていない遺族の方々には、どうか諦めないでほしいと声を掛けたい」と話した。
　大久保さんは常磐山元自動車学校のアルバイト従業員で、勤務中に津波に巻き込まれた。大久保さんの両親や教習生２５人の遺族は、同校が迅速な避難を怠ったとして損害賠償を求めて提訴。２０１６年に仙台高裁で和解が成立した。跡地には慰霊碑が建てられている。（2019/10/24-11:22）

Remains found by a fishing boat off the Pacific coast of Miyagi Prefecture, northeastern Japan, in August have been identified as those of a part-time driving school employee who went missing after the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami, the prefectural police department said Thursday.
   The remains of Maki Okubo, who was 27 when the tsunami struck her workplace, were handed to her parents the same day.
   According to the police in the town of Watari in Miyagi, a chin bone and a tooth fragment, which were found caught in a fishing net off the disaster-hit town of Yamamoto in Miyagi were identified on Oct. 11 as Maki's through DNA testing and dental identification.
   "I'm so happy, almost as if my daughter came back alive," Maki's father, Mitsuo, 66, said with a soft expression on his face after collecting the remains at the Watari police station. The woman's mother, Keiko, 61, said in tears, "I'm glad she finally came back, although she has become so light."
   "I want to tell the bereaved families of missing victims not to give up," the mother added.
