茨城県で震度５弱　原発異常なし―気象庁

　２２日午後７時５分ごろ、茨城県沖を震源とする地震があり、同県東海村で震度５弱の揺れを観測した。気象庁によると、震源の深さは４５キロ、地震の規模（マグニチュード）は５．７と推定される。この地震は東日本大震災の余震と考えられる。津波の心配はない。
　原子力規制庁によると、停止中の日本原子力発電東海第２原発（東海村）、日本原子力研究開発機構の東海再処理施設（同）など、茨城県内の原子力施設から地震による異常は報告されていない。
　東京電力によると、福島第１原発、第２原発での異常は報告されていない。
　東北新幹線は大宮―郡山間で一時運転を見合わせた。

　震度４＝水戸市、福島市、福島県郡山市、同県いわき市、栃木県益子町

A strong earthquake with an estimated magnitude of 5.8 hit eastern Japan on Sunday evening.
   The quake, which occurred off the Pacific coast of Ibaraki Prefecture around 7:06 p.m. (10:06 a.m. GMT), measured lower 5 in the village of Tokai, Ibaraki Prefecture, northeast of Tokyo, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.
   According to the Nuclear Regulation Authority's Secretariat, there has been no report of any problem with nuclear facilities in the prefecture, including Japan Atomic Power Co.'s suspended Tokai No. 2 nuclear power plant and the Japan Atomic Energy Agency's Tokai reprocessing plant, both located in the village.
   East Japan Railway Co. , or JR East, suspended its Tohoku Shinkansen bullet train service between Omiya Station in Saitama Prefecture and Koriyama Station in Fukushima Prefecture.
