コロナ解雇、７万人超え　増加ペースは鈍化傾向

　厚生労働省は９日、新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大の影響による解雇・雇い止めの人数（見込みを含む）が、６日時点の累計で７万人を超えたことを明らかにした。ただ、１０月は前月から３割以上減少しており、足元の増加ペースは鈍化傾向にある。
　厚労省は都道府県労働局や全国のハローワークを通じ、新たに発生した解雇・雇い止めの数を集計している。集計できるのは一部にとどまり、実際の数はさらに多いもよう。人数には、その後再就職した人も含まれる。
　６日時点の解雇・雇い止めの人数は７万２４２人だった。１０月は７５０６人で、解雇・雇い止めが本格化した５月以降で最も少なかった。もっとも、週に１０００人前後が新型コロナの影響で解雇・雇い止めされる状況は続いており、雇用情勢の厳しさは払拭（ふっしょく）されていない。
　業種別の内訳が公表されている最新の週間集計（１０月３０日時点）によると、製造業が累計１万２９７９人で最多。飲食業１万４４５人、小売業９３７８人と続いている。（2020/11/09-20:54）

Over 70,000 people in Japan have lost their jobs due to the impact of the novel coronavirus since the pandemic began, the labor ministry said Monday.
   The actual number may be higher as the ministry's survey does not cover the whole situation, sources familiar with the matter said.
   As of Friday, 70,242 people in Japan had lost their jobs due to the pandemic's impact, according to the survey.
   The number of lost jobs was largest in manufacturing, at 12,979, as of Oct. 30, followed by restaurants, at 10,445, and retail, at 9,378.
   But the pace of job losses has been slowing as the number of those who lost their jobs in October fell over 30 pct from the previous month to 7,506, its lowest level since May.
